At its core, ministry is about people. We serve people, love people, and act as a bridge connecting those people to Jesus. And while there are so many things that make ministry work (systems, processes, prayer, preaching, teaching, and personal development, to name a few), it all comes down to people. But even so, the list of things to do, goals to accomplish, and problems to solve is very real. It is simply impossible to accomplish everything alone. Ministry is done by people, for people. It is not a one-man show; it is a community and a gathering place where followers of Jesus can serve and grow together. Ministry is a team sport. As such, building your team is of the utmost importance. It’s not enough to assign tasks and hope that people show up; your team has to have the heartbeat of your ministry. Volunteers should feel a sense of ownership about what you are working to accomplish together; they should be committed, excited, appreciated, and inspired. You need more than a body in the room; you need partners and teammates. And yet, even though most of us understand the concept of a healthy, thriving team, we struggle with building such a group. The challenge for many people in ministry is not identifying potential volunteers, but cultivating strong relationships. For the next few weeks, we’ll be working together to overcome this issue. It is time to do more than wish our people were more committed; its time to take responsibility and cultivate our tribe. The Worker Realization Model is a four-step process designed to help you start building the team you’ve been dreaming about. Four simple steps to revolutionize your ministry. Are you ready? Here’s a sneak peak:

  1. Inspire
  2. Discover

I am so excited to share the Worker Realization Model with you. Over the next few weeks, we will cover each step in depth. Are you ready to take your ministry to the next level?
