Hi, I’m Duke Matlock. I am a speaker, writer and coach. I help leaders facing personal and organizational challenges develop and grow by investing in themselves, assuring the realization of success and life fulfillment.
I believe strongly that the keys to success are to invest in yourself and invest in your team. But before you can invest, you have to understand that leadership is vital in every area of life. To help you understand leadership in this way, I write on the topics of leadership skills, teams, personal and professional development, productivity, and inspiration.
My goal is to create relevant content that will help leaders find fulfillment and success. If you are ready to grow, this blog is for you. I am committed to helping you succeed both personally and professionally.
I typically post twice a week. To be notified of my latest posts, SUBSCRIBE to my blog!
I have been coaching people from all walks of life for over thirty years. My career started in Pastoral Ministry. I have planted two churches and served as the Family Life Pastor at a Central Florida mega church. I also served as the Lead Pastor of a church with a large pastoral staff. Basically, I have spent my entire life helping people grow and succeed.
In addition to my career in ministry, I am a professionally trained coach, certified through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and the founder of Invest Leadership Initiative and Beyond Daydreams Life Coaching. I am a coach and coach trainer, I serve on the Assemblies of God Coaching Task Force, and I am the Coaching Facilitator for the Peninsular Florida Assemblies of God.
I am also an authorized partner with the Wiley Corporation, specializing in Everything DiSC and the Five Behaviors of a Highly Cohesive Team. I am a licensed Coach Trainer with CAM.
My wife, Kelley, and I have been married for thirty-three years. We live just outside Orlando, Florida, with our three beautiful daughters, Jennifer, McKenzie, and Logan. Our family is growing with the additions of our soon-to-be son-in-law Max Eckerson and my best buddy Guapo, the American Bulldog.
